Philanthropy: Giving Back to the Community
Gus Drakopoulos has always believed that successful entrepreneurship involves a commitment to giving back to the community. His philanthropic efforts in the South Bronx are a testament to this belief. Gus has been one of the largest donors in the area, notably organizing a back-to-school event where he distributed over 2,000 book bags filled with essential school supplies such as notebooks, pens, papers, and crayons to local children. He also hosted the “Street of Treats” Halloween party, an event so grand it closed down two blocks, providing safe, festive fun for families. Additionally, at Lincoln Hospital, he spearheaded the Toys for Tots program, giving away over 3,000 toys annually to bring joy to children during the holiday season. Through these initiatives, Gus not only enriches the community but also sets a powerful example of responsibility and generosity.
